About SAMDA
The South African Motorbike Delivery Association (SAMDA) is a national advocacy body for riders and platforms. We champion the rights, dignity, and safety of those who keep cities connected and businesses thriving. Whether delivering meals, medicines, or parcels, riders are the backbone of convenience and deserve respect, visibility, and protection. Through training, outreach, and collaboration, SAMDA empowers riders to uplift standards and livelihoods.
As a values-driven association, SAMDA fosters awareness and mutual respect between riders and communities. We partner with government, industry, and civil society to shape fair policies and ethical practices that reflect frontline realities. By cultivating rider leadership through campaigns, engagement, and knowledge-sharing, we build a movement for better conditions, stronger networks, and proud delivery riders nationwide—one kilometer at a time.
