The South African Motorbike Delivery Association (SAMDA) delivered a highly impactful Mass Rider Recruitment and Registration Programme in Tembisa, drawing significant turnout from unemployed youth and aspiring delivery riders. The initiative marked a major step towards formalising participation in South Africa’s rapidly growing delivery economy, as hundreds of attendees engaged in registration, onboarding, and industry exposure.
The event successfully created a platform where unemployed individuals and those seeking entry into the delivery sector were able to register, gain insight into the industry, and understand how to access income-generating opportunities. SAMDA’s structured approach ensured that participants were not only recruited but also educated on the expectations, responsibilities, and sustainability of working within the delivery ecosystem.
